If it is beyond his capabilities, as an educator you should teach him with patience and care, more effort on your part should be put in, you can berate, you can consult his guardian, you can complain to higher authorities, there are so many many many things within your authorisation and power to do. But not make him kneel. Not make him suffer through such humiliation, such pain. There are so many other ways, so many other methods. He's only but nine. As a math teacher, you should know better, the figures portraying his tender age. NINE. 9.
