hehe. now that's a mouthful.
had a great time celebrating shirley darls and yinru dearie their birthdays today!!
initially we had wanted to go to marina to have steamboat. jus like last year. but this year, we changed our minds whilst on board of 261. made a trip down to the nearest supermarket, the trustworthy NTUC,and bought about 40 plus bucks worth of grocery.
naturally we couldn't finish what we had bought and most of these foods are in my fridge now.

then my mom went out and guess what she came back with?
teehee. my al time favourite "rojak". but due the overload that i had in my tummie.. i didn't have the ability to stuff that down my throat! what a total waste yeah. and to our surprise, my mom bought shir and ru a small black forest cake.
and this black forest cake was from this lil neighbourhood cakery which had made a name for itself thanks to their marvellous black forest cake.
yesh ple. those at my house at the hour had a gooooood spread of food and the cake of course. teehee. :) it's was spleeenndiid.
then we hang around in my room as they played the fools chatting with people they prolly dint noe at all.arrghs.. embarrassing yeah. opps!!! later on, i sent all three of them downstairs to await the arrival of shir's dad to send them home.
heee.. yinru dearie!! thanks so much for that heartwarming and touching speeech.. though we noe that you are more touched by our lil celebration for you and shir.
